Emily, I feel everyone is avoiding us, they look at us with such disdain.
They act like we should just forget you existed, no answers, this is driving us insane.
We ask questions and they act as we if we have no right to know,
Who took you from us that day? Where did you go?
Who would do these terrible things to you and just throw you away?
How do they think we can just forget, no questions, no answers to what happened those last days?

Would they be content, if, this was their child, their blood, their own?
To never know who did this to them, satisfied with this unknown?
How can there ever be closure. When we have no answers, no explanations?
Who did this to you? Why? How did this happen? How did you meet your final destination?

These questions and more fills our minds, Who,Where,How, Why???????
Who took you from us? Who played God and decided you had to die?

Emily. We will keep searching, seeking justice, will never stop, we refuse to give up our quest.
We will not let this end, wont let it go, until we know who caused your death.
So, we will keep right on looking, searching, for the answers, so you will not cease to exist, as they hope,
We will keep on asking them questions, find new ways to cope.

Emily, your memory will always be with us, safe within our hearts and souls,
Please don't think we will ever give up or forget you, our memories and love are so strong, this we want you to know.

This is a tribute to you, for, we know in heaven, you soar.
Every day our love grows, each day we love you more.
Wait, for us, Emily, for us to join you one day.
We will hold you in our arms again, God will make a way.
Until then, you will remain, forever in our mind.
No one can ever take your place, so loving, sweet, and kind.

We wont ever say good-by.
We know one day, in heaven, God will cease our cries.
So watch for us to enter those wonderful pearly gates,
We will try to go on here,, as we patiently wait.

This poem was written in Memory of Emily Garcia by a very talented lady who has become very dear to us. Her name is "DJ" Donna French and this page is dedicated to her as well as to Emily. DJ also lost a child to murder and understands all too well, the agony a family suffers as a result. She has also added Emily to her son's web site to try to help our family get answers and justice for Emily. We can never thank her enough for her help or for her friendship and will always treasure both. Thank you, DJ and God bless you.
